Their Spirits Lives On...

Clyde Lee Rivers (1951-2001)

My father wanted to make an extreme impression on the music industry by creating an entertainment business targeting our youth. To him, it was taking drastic measures towards trying to put a dent in gang violence and crimes that continues to plague our children. To him, this was how he intended to pay his debt to society after serving a 7 year prison term at the California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo, CA. He wanted to positively impact their lives by generating opportunities that would channel their energy through music, while fighting against the war that takes the lives of children on a daily basis. But his health took its toll shortly after being denied by San Diego Judicial Court, an early release that would have benefited his dreams, where it was in prison that he passed away on August 10, 2001 from cancer. His passing left his dream...his legacy unfulfilled.

Michael Valle (1966-1996)

He was an individual who had a distinctive way of impacting the lives of those whose paths he crossed.  It was his flare for spontaneous mischief, his twisted personality, and colorful ego that drew his friends to him. It was his love for poetry that bonded our friendship, thus creating "Oceanside Annonymous." He was his own person of uniqueness. And never allowed limiting boundaries stand in his way. He lived every second to the fullest, especially after he learned he was ill. It was as if he accepted the coming of death...the ending of time as he knew it, only to welcome what was to come...the comfort of healed body and mind, a free spirit and soul; forever living free of pain and sorrow. His passing reminded us of what we lost~ a true friend~ and made us look deep within ourselves. It was his passing that reminded us to be grateful of what we have...the friends and family around us who love us and care for us...to never, but never take their love for granted. We continue to miss him, and remember him in our expressions of a creative flow.
